...how do I get one?

There are many ways! Options vary by the time of year. If we haven’t started kidding season yet, we may still be taking reservations on specific breedings. If you’d like to place a reservation, pick a pair or two from our list that has open reservation spots left and contact us to confirm your reservation. If kidding season has already begun, we have all our available kids listed here. If there are no goats listed that page and all does on our breeding schedule have kidded, then we unfortunately are sold out; but don’t worry! We are more than willing to point you in the right direction of a breeder with kids or adult goats available, OR you are welcome to place a reservation in advance for the following year.

Reservations & Deposits

For the best chance of being able to purchase the kid of your choice, we recommend placing a reservation, ideally before kidding begins in February. Reservations are limited to 4 per breeding pair (2 bucklings, 2 doelings) and are first come first serve. Until further notice, reservations can be placed for FREE! Once a dam has kidded, reservations will be contacted in the order they were received with pictures and info of the litter. Once contacted, the person who placed the reservation will be given 24 hours to respond and lock in their kid before the available kids are offered to the next reservation. Within the week of securing your kid, we will be in communication with you to secure your deposit, figure out if the kid will be going home early on a bottle, and finalize potential pick-up dates.

If you decide on purchasing an available kid after they’ve been born, you can place a deposit on the specific kid for $100 down. Doing so ensures the kid is yours as long as they are picked up by the agreed upon pick up date, which will be discussed prior to placing your deposit.

Listed below are our planned breedings for 2026. In the first two columns you will find the sire and dam with links to their pages to view more information on them. In the third column the due date, unclaimed reservations, price, and a brief description are listed along with a link to the resulting pedigree.

Kids are available for pickup starting at two weeks on a bottle, or at 8-16 weeks after weaning has taken place.
